What can I sell?
Most people use Sellwire to sell things that they've made. These include plugins, scripts, ebooks, songs, videos, photos, and other things. Anything that you can "upload" as a single file you can sell.
Does Sellwire provide an online store?
In a word, no. Sellwire handles the checkout process of selling digital goods online, but having a store or a website to sell your products remains your responsibility.
How can people pay?
At the moment we only support PayPal Express Checkout sales (although we hope to add more payment options in the future). So you will require a PayPal "Premier" or "Business" account to use Sellwire. All sales will be directed to PayPal. Note that PayPal supports debit and credit card payments via their checkout.
What price can I make my files?
Literally anything you want. Free, $1, $1,000 or more. At the moment we support the following currencies (via PayPal): Australian Dollar – AUD, Brazilian Real – BRL, Canadian Dollar – CAD, Czech Koruna – CZK, Danish Krone – DKK, Euro – EUR, Hong Kong Dollar – HKD, Hungarian Forint – HUF, Israeli New Sheqel – ILS, Japanese Yen – JPY, Malaysian Ringgit – MYR, Mexican Peso – MXN, Norwegian Krone – NOK, New Zealand Dollar – NZD, Philippine Peso – PHP, Polish Zloty – PLN, Pound Sterling – GBP, Singapore Dollar – SGD, Swedish Krona – SEK, Swiss Franc – CHF, Taiwan New Dollar – TWD, Thai Baht – THB, Turkish Lira – TRY and the U.S. Dollar – USD.
I'm not in the US. Can I use Sellwire?
Yes. You can use Sellwire in any country that PayPal supports.
How much does it cost to use Sellwire?
Sellwire is completely free during beta!
How do I get paid?
When someone purchases your file, the money is paid directly into your PayPal account.
Can I stop my subscripton?
After Sellwire is out of beta it will run on a subscription pricing scheme. More on that later...
Does Sellwire handle refunds?
At the moment Sellwire doesn't handle the refund process (although this is a feature we are keen to add), however you can mark your orders as "refunded" and keep track of your orders in this way.
