After months of hard work we’re proud to announce the new Sellwire! This massive update see’s a completely new design across the whole site and app, loads of new features and the absence of a “beta” tag. It’s been a tough slog but we got there and are very happy with the results. But don’t worry, we won’t be holding back now that the new site is out. We’ve got loads of awesome stuff still in the pipeline for the future. But before any of that, here is a run down of the changes we’re launching today.
A Slick New Design
A few months ago we approached James McDonald to do a complete redesign of the entire site for us. We’d worked with James before on other projects and knew he could produce top quality work. He happily obliged and you can see the stunning results. Feel free to have a nosey around the site and checkout how lovely the new site is. Awesome New Features
A good looking site isn’t the only thing we’ve been working on for the last while either. We haven’t stopped developing the Sellwire app itself and have added the following awesome features:
- Emailing customers when a new version is uploaded
- Google Analytics eCommerce integration
- Tax and VAT support
- Twitter/Facebook signup and login integration
- New http://sllwi.re short URL for purchase pages
- Loads of other small bug fixes and enhancements.
And that’s just what we’re launching today. We’ve got loads more awesome features planned for Sellwire that we hope to be launching in the near future. Keep you eyes peeled over the next few days as we’ll be posting individual blog posts on our new features explaining them in a bit more depth.
Our Amazing Pricing Scheme
One of the biggest changes we’re announcing today is the introduction of our pricing scheme. Now that we’ve dropped our “beta” tag it’s time for Sellwire to become a real product and the new pricing scheme reflects our move into the realm of “professional” apps. But don’t worry, we’re not about to try and steal all your hard earned cash.
We wanted the pricing scheme to be simple and effective, much like everything else we do at Sellwire. We only wanted to charge users who are making money from our app, after all it is meant to help people get their sales off the ground. So we decided not to go for a monthly subscription pricing scheme as we thought this wouldn’t really benefit our users. Rather we’ve opted for a credits based system, so that users only pay for what they used. And of course we wanted it to be affordable, so it only costs $10 per one hundred orders and every user get’s 30 credits free to start with. Not bad right?
